Below is a list of commonly asked questions and information about Gojotekicon. If you do not see an answer to your question or concern, please feel free to email us at gojotekicon@gmail.com.

1. When/ where is Gojotekicon?
Gojotekicon dates are pending; but will be held at the Comfort Inn and Galaxy Event Center in Wadsworth, Ohio. The hotels and event center are located right off of I-76.
2. What are the hours?
During the weekend, the convention activities begin at ~10 AM and run until ~2 AM.
3. What ages are able to attend Gojotekicon?
This event is intended for all ages. Panels will range from all ages, to 18+ and 21+. Age restricted paneling will be listed on the schedule and require proper, valid ID.
4. Do parents need to be present at the convention with their child?
If your child is under the age of 18, we ask that you remain at the convention venue. We strive for a safe, friendly environment, but do require you to stay with your child during the convention in case of any emergency situation. Upon registration, all persons under 18 will require a parent/guardian to be present to obtain admission. Parents are welcome to stay in the common areas, but will require to purchase admission if they would like to attend/ enter any panels or vendor areas with their child.
5. Will there be an area for vendors?
Yes! We will have a space for artists, dealers, and vendors indoor in the event space.
Vendor applications are currently closed.
6. What replica weapons/props are acceptable?
We ask that all weapons and props are inoperable of moving parts that can cause harm to oneself or others.
If you are carrying a firearm prop/replica please ensure the orange tip is visible, or has a 1" orange band around the barrel as per federal law.
No metal or sharp blades or objects will be permitted in the convention space.
Please be mindful of the space around you, and keep props under 4' tall due to ceiling height constraints. We welcome larger props for outdoor use/display.
Operational firearms/ working weapons of any kind are not permitted in the convention space.
7. Is cosplay required?
Cosplay is not required to attend or participate in any of the activities at Gojotekicon, but if you would like to cosplay, we encourage it and please feel free to do so! Gojotekicon strives to create a friendly, happy environment for all- no cos-shaming will be tolerated and may result in loss of admission.
Please make sure that cosplays do cover that of a typical swim suit. No genitalia should be visible.
8. Are activities inside, outside, or...?
The convention spaces are indoors on the main floor of the Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn, as well as in the Mars and Starlight rooms at the Galaxy Event Center. There will be some outdoor activities (weather permitting) in the grassy area near the Holiday Inn, as well as on the patio of the Comfort Inn and Galaxy Event Center.
9. What dances and/or raves will you have?
We have live musical performances, DJs, dance panels, comedy routines, and more fun interactive activities!

10. What kinds of gaming is there?
We have a console gaming room that provides open play gaming throughout the weekend with consoles ranging from the Super Nintendo through current generation consoles.
Table top gaming is hosted by Unbalanced Entertainment throughout the duration of the weekend. They host open play table top games with their expansive collection of games, guided games, and introductions to their own game- Unbalanced Universe.
